Electric Or LPG? Choosing The Right Forklift For Your Building

The first question we ask a customer looking at a new lift truck is not about capacity — it is about the building. Ventilation, floor surface, aisle width and shift length narrow the choice faster than any spec sheet.

Electric suits enclosed warehouses, food and cold storage, and anywhere exhaust or noise is a problem. Running costs are lower and maintenance is simpler, but you need charging space and a plan for battery rotation on multi-shift operations.

LPG stays the practical answer for mixed indoor-outdoor work, higher lift heights and operations that cannot pause for charging. Cylinder swaps take a minute and performance does not fade at the end of a shift.

If your operation runs both environments, a mixed fleet is usually cheaper over five years than forcing one power type to do everything. We are happy to walk the floor with you before you commit.
